I read about project 365 a little while ago and thought it was such a great way to document a year, and to think a bit more creatively about how I photograph things. I am going to attempt to document 2011 in one picture per day. I am thinking about printing and binding my project at the end of the year, so that will be my incentive to keep it going! I may not post every day, but my aim will be to at least take a photo every day, so I will be carrying around my little cybershot everywhere :-)

Day 54 -Another Doughnut Day!

Love this new trend in kids birthday treats for school! No more slicing up a Woolies mud cake into 33 pieces with a bread and butter knife (yes I have done this before) it seems that the new trend is to send in a batch of fancy doughnuts. This was the second time this year and it is only Week 5. I am impressed!
I haven't talked to a teacher who hasn't sliced up a Woolies mud cake with a bread and butter knife. Those circle ones are a pain in the butt to ensure you get 30 slices. I had doughnuts today too!! So much easier, I love the trend too. Keep them coming, just don't buy enough for me to have one.

I certainly remember the mud cakes! Doughnuts are good (at least for this :)) - cupcakes are great too.
