I read about project 365 a little while ago and thought it was such a great way to document a year, and to think a bit more creatively about how I photograph things. I am going to attempt to document 2011 in one picture per day. I am thinking about printing and binding my project at the end of the year, so that will be my incentive to keep it going! I may not post every day, but my aim will be to at least take a photo every day, so I will be carrying around my little cybershot everywhere :-)

Day 228 - Super Mum :P
This post title, is said with tongue in cheek, although the nurse at the vet's today did say that I was 'amazing' :P Noting that I would never do this if I had to take Rex, I took Henry along for the ride this afternoon for Milly and Daisy's annual check ups and vaccinations. Other than being a bit excitable (Milly) and slightly freaked out (Daisy) both animals were fairly well behaved... other than Milly plonking herself in the baby car seat when we got back to the car! I took the above picture after everyone was in place in the back seat!

Day 97 - Never Work With Animals or Children
Not a great photo, but it is actually hard enough to get a cat to pose, let alone with a baby! Henry has a lot of interest in our pets and the cats seem to like him patting them, even though he is pretty rough! He usually manages to pull out a few tufts of fur and luckily they have both put up with him so far.

Day 20 - Look What The Cat Dragged In...
Daisy truly is a little rat... I felt very guilty this morning, because I am sure that I told her she was a pest and a nuisance the day before she disappeared overnight! A sneaky cat, Daisy often shoots out the door when she is meant to be inside (at night time basically) and she didn't come back when we went to bed last night. This has happened once or twice before and she is usually waiting on the front mat when I get up to feed Henry at 3am. Today we didn't see her til about 4pm when she stumbled out of the bushes a few minutes after I went over the road calling out to her. I finally got this pic after about 10 goes - she is expert at darting out of frame at the last second too!
