Day 220 - Milly Needs a Makeover

Well Milly has finally been booked in for a visit to the "beauty parlour" and I have clipped out enough of her knots, so as to not be too embarrassed to take her there! Of course Rex has been booked in too, so that he doesn't have to sit home all forlorn waiting for his girl to come home!

Day 174 - Haircut Day

Another blissful couple of hours, relaxing while having my hair done! If only it was more often! This is my favourite hair product and it actually does let my hair dry straight without frizz. I love it!

Day 138 - Relaxation Time!

At the moment, one time and place where I feel that I can actually relax is when I am having my hair done. It is the only time that I know Henry is in someone else's capable hands and I am not working. This afternoon I visited the wonderful Vanessa and I admit that I nearly fell asleep having my hair washed! So it's me time... and I also walk out feeling like I have had a makeover!

Day 13 - Port-a-baby!

Look closely in the corner of the couch at the little white bundle...

I had my hair done for the second time since Henry was born today. Mum looked after him the first time, but this time Vanessa (hairdresser) said to just bring him along. I was a bit worried that I would delay her by having to stop and pick him up or carry him around if he got cranky, but I have to say he was a total angel. He spent the first hour or so playing with Vanessa's daughter, then had a sleep (right through the sounds of someone else's hair being blowdried and conversations taking place). When he woke, he had a bottle while the toner worked on my hair. He then happily sat on my lap while my hair was cut, blowdried and straightened. He loved looking at himself in the mirror!
