Day 333 - My Little Elf

Day 331 - An Afternoon by the Pool

As the weather had dried out a bit by this afternoon and it was also pretty warm, I decided to get out Jenna's old clamshell pool for Henry to try out. He seemed to enjoy splashing about in the water, putting pebbles into the water, climbing in and out over and over and having a little stomp in the water! I can't wait to take him back to the local pool this year to see how he takes it all in - he was pretty stunned by it all last summer! In this photo, you can see his brand new hat, that Mum made last week for him. Pretty cute and glad that he is so happy to wear hats!

Day 314 - Long Lost Hat Returned!

Henry was very excited to receive an envelope in the post today containing his long lost hat, left at Nanna and Opa's on the weekend. In fact he had a huge grin on his face when he peered into the envelope; he threw his old hat off and put on his very missed hat straightaway :-)

Day 308 - Gifts from Nanna and Opa

We arrived in Sydney tonight and Henry quickly found a spinning top that his Opa made for him that he immediately loved. In this photo, Henry is holding the top while wearing his beloved hat, made by his Nanna!

Day 302 - Coffee Time!

We went over to Civic for a bit of shopping this afternoon and decided to stop for a much needed coffee at The Coffee Club. Henry seemed to enjoy this the most out of all of us, as he got to share both Dale's blueberry muffin and my almond friand. He also got to play with our table number which somehow gave him much enjoyment! Oh, you may notice his new reversible hat, made by Nanna with fabric that I bought a few weeks ago at the Handmade Markets. He rarely takes it off these days.

Day 274 - To Market, To Market

The Handmade Markets were on this weekend and so Mum, Henry and I went along for a look and to buy a few nice things. I have been after some new red beads to wear and I found this funky necklace by "Six in a Row", who I am pretty sure I have bought a similar style necklace from before. I also bought some fabric from the Japanese fabric stall for Mum to make a new reversible bucket hat for Henry and of course some delicious macaroons from the same people that sell them at the Bus Depot Markets (Curious Chocolatier). We got lemon, raspberry cheesecake and lime and coconut. The raspberry cheesecake was definitely the favourite for me.

Day 164 - Henry's Hats

When I finally get around to starting Henry's baby album (first birthday is soon!) there is sure to be a page dedicated to Henry's love of hats! From sunhats to beanies and even a pirate hat, hats amuse him quite a bit! In this picture he is wearing his Opa's hat while he eats his breakfast!

Day 111 - Easter Hat Parade

Yes, the day before Good Friday is Easter Hat Parade Day at the daycare centre. I have to say that I found it pretty cute that the babies were included. In fact the staff in the nursery turned a cot on wheels into an easter float to wheel them all around in, which was gorgeous. Even if the babies did destroy the streamers and decorations! Glad I snapped Henry even if he does look a bit confused - right after the parade he tore an ear off!

Day 102 - Autumn Hits

I just had to share this cute pic of Henry in his little tracksuit and beanie! Autumn has really hit over the last few days and I am hoping that those brand new heaters will be connected at school by the time we go back! Although Henry has been wearing hats since he was born, he has finally figured out how to get them off, but luckily I managed to snap this before he changed his mind about wearing it!

Day 15 - Polka Dot Hat!

Well I didn't do much interesting today to take a photo of, so I am just going to pick a cute one that I took of Henry in his new hat. Incidentally, his new hat (made for him by his Nanna, Daphne) was also his first ever item received in the mail addressed to him. It arrived on Friday. Not sure he liked it when he first tried it on... he tried to pull it off by pulling down on it :P

So today was just an ordinary day of chores like washing and taking Henry to the doctors this morning. At least the sun is back out and Henry should be seen out and about in his polka dot hat sometime soon!
